SOSO House is a private hanok house. It is a place where you can experience the charm of Seochon, a new hipster area that is gaining popularity in Jongno-gu, Seoul, while enjoying the comfort of a hanok house situated in a quiet residential area. Entering through the front gate, you can see a small stone-laid garden. In one corner of the garden, there is an alpine apple tree, which blossoms white flowers in spring, and bears red apples in fall. There is a cute little stool next to the apple tree where you could enjoy a cup of tea on a sunny day. If you go up to the porch, you will be able to see daecheongmaru, which functions as the living room in a hanok. The master bedroom and kitchen are located on both sides of the living room. Inside the master bedroom, there is a small attic that feels like a secret space. Sitting at the floor table in the attic, adults listen to the rain while children let their imagination run wild. There is a kitchen fully equipped with cooking utensils and kitchen appliances. Complementary breakfast including toast, salad, and coffee is prepared in advance before check-in. Complementary homemade fruit syrup, espresso capsules, and tea bags are also provided. Nearby at walking distances are Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul Museum of History, Tongin Market, and Park No-soo Museum. The alleyways of Seochon Hanok Village are filled with pretty places such as trendy cafes and restaurants.
